RespicAir, P.C Completes Accreditation with ACHC

RespicAir, P.C. has been validated as an organization dedicated to quality patient care by successfully meeting national standards and becoming clinically accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care Inc. (ACHC) RespicAir has been working towards this for the past year and has recently received the certification through 2015. Theresa Cooper-Merletti, RRT says that “it helps us to achieve our goal and mission of providing superior professional respiratory services and equipment to our patients. The management and employees are dedicated to achieving this goal by providing our patients with the highest standards of care and service. The accreditation is something we have been working hard to accomplish and we are proud to say we have received it. The survey process leads an organization to examine its policies and practices continually to clarify its strengths and improve its weaknesses. I thank all of our outstanding staff for all of their hard work in the process.”

RespicAir, P.C started in 2001 by Theresa Cooper- Merletti, RRT and Mark Merletti, Co-Owners. Theresa is a Registered Respiratory Therapist and Mark has a Business Administration degree. RespicAir, P.C. is a Professional Corporation and is the only durable medical equipment company in Western New York which is a Professional Corporation. We are held to higher professional standards. RespicAir focuses on respiratory care and equipment such as Oxygen, CPAP, BIPAP, Cough Assist Machines, Nebulizers, and Ventilators. We focus on diagnoses of COPD, ALS, Muscular Dystrophy, and Asthma. We also volunteer for the MDA 2 times per month at their MDA Clinics.
